Who we are

What data we collect

When you use the Elecz API or MCP server, we may log:

• The API endpoint and query parameters (e.g. zone=FI)
• Timestamp of the request
• IP address prefix (first 3 octets only, e.g. 160.79.106)
• User-agent string

What we do not collect

We do not collect personal information, names, email addresses, or any data that identifies individual users. We do not store full IP addresses. We do not set cookies. We do not use tracking pixels or advertising networks.

How we use data

Logged data is used solely for service monitoring, debugging, and aggregate usage analytics. Data is never sold or shared with third parties.

Data storage

Request logs and price data are stored in Supabase (EU region) and cached in Upstash Redis. Electricity price data originates from ENTSO-E, Octopus Energy API, AEMO, and EM6.

MCP server

The MCP endpoint at https://elecz.com/mcp processes tool call requests from AI agents. It receives query parameters (zone, consumption estimates) and returns electricity price signals. No user identity data is transmitted or stored.

Third-party links

Elecz may link to external electricity provider websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
